We’re looking for the next generation of talented undergraduates to join our team for an unforgettable 6 months internship. An internship at Let’s Learn is an opportunity to bring your own unique perspective as a learner, together with your academic knowledge, technical skills, and enthusiasm, to help create products that will be used by the students like you.

As one of our interns, you will gain a comprehensive introduction to our business. You’ll be assigned to a team and work on real-life projects that bring our products and services to life. On the job training and professional development will be provided to enable you to contribute to the business. You’ll also have direct access to a senior member of the team, as each intern will be mentored to help you make the most of the six months program.

What Does the Education Instructional Designer  Do?

Successful candidates will spend 6 months working with our education and technology teams.

You will get internet allowances during the duration of your internship. The internship starts mid-February 2022 and will take six month.


Qualifications

Job Description

As an Education Instructional Designer, you will design storyboards for course instructions which will guide in developing digital course contents for both primary and secondary schools. The storyboards will be transformed into interactive and engaging digital course materials contents. You will be helping Let’s Learn to work on creating next generation digital content. This will be an opportunity to work with other team members who have expertise in creating digital education content.

What does the six months involve?

Interns will develop a broad knowledge of content creation tools and platforms, create a prototype that delivers specific learning objectives, work with subject matter experts to collect, write, assimilate and develop content that matches a learning objective. Collect feedback and metrics to assess effectiveness of the solution. There will also be an opportunity to learn how technology processes will work in bigger organizations. 

Requirements

  • We look for Students pursuing an Education degree majoring in English, Math or Social Sciences 

  • We also look for Students who are self-motivated and self-learning.

  • Students with experience Microsoft Office, and elearning is are preferred.

  • Experience (or) understanding to work with graphic design, powerpoint and others that are used to develop education materials is preferred.

  • Students should be a ‘people person’, well-rounded and happy to take on new challenges. 

  • Students in third year are preferred. 

  • Communication skills are Important in English and Kinyarwanda. French is a plus.

  • The internship will be remote and the intern will be required to use his/her computer.
