We’re looking for the next generation of talented undergraduates to join our team for an unforgettable 6 months internship. As one of our interns, you will gain a comprehensive introduction to our business. You’ll be assigned to a team and work on real-life projects that bring our products and services to life. On the job training and professional development will be provided to enable you to contribute to the business. You’ll also have direct access to a senior member of the team, as each intern will be mentored to help you make the most of the six months program.

What Does the Digital Education Content Developer Do?

Successful candidates will spend 6 months working with our education and technology teams.

You will get internet allowances during the duration of your internship. The internship starts mid-February 2022 and will take six month.

As a Web and Moodle Developer, you will learn and implement maintenance of Let’s Learn E-Learning platforms. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to grow with a fast-paced start-up building technological solutions in the Learning and Development arena. This Webmaster & Moodle Developer performs a key role in creating and maintaining learning management systems based on Moodle and PHP, including design, configurations, branding and customizations. This position provides great opportunity for PHP developers for growing skills and gaining experience in a fast-paced environment by building and maintaining enterprise level applications based on PHP/Moodle

What does the six months involve?

Interns will develop a broad knowledge of web management and Learning Management System based on Moodle. This will be an opportunity to practice skills gained in class and apply it in real life business. During this period the intern will be:

• Designing, Maintaining and building enterprise level learning management systems based on HTML5/PHP. 

• Perform design, configure, customize and implement responsive and effective LMS systems

• Integrate with plugins when required.

• Manage Moodle courses and users.

Requirements

• Having basic programming skills in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Apache and Moodle LMS.

• Interested in learning and applying moodle functionalities customization. 

• We look for Students pursuing an Education degree, majoring in Computer Sciences or  Information Technology. 

• We also look for Students who are self-motivated and self-learning.

• Students should be a ‘people person’, well-rounded and happy to take on new challenges. 

• Students in third year are preferred. 

• Communication skills are Important in English and Kinyarwanda. French is a plus.

• The internship will be remote and the intern will be required to use his computer.
